clients, our peers and the community we serve. We believe
that attainment of this goal assures not only our individual and

naturally flow from a job well done.

Stephen
D. Finch
was born in Sherman, Texas in 1958. He is a 1976 graduate of
Spring High School in Spring, Texas and a 1980 graduate of Austin
College in Sherman, Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree,
majoring in political science and history. After completing his
legal education at St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio
where he earned the degree of Juris Doctor in 1983 and receiving his
license from the Supreme Court of Texas to practice law later that
same year, Stephen made the decision to forego the traditional path of
young attorneys as an associate in a large law firm and determined
that he would immediately open his own practice. He sought out a
community which was well located, which provided a good environment
for success and, most importantly, which promised a good quality of
life. Having identified the City of Seguin as a likely choice,
he opened his practice on January 2, 1984 at the 105 West Donegan Street location which his firm continues to occupy to this
day. |
Stephen is a two time past member of the Board of
Directors of the Mid Texas Symphony, an Elder in the Presbyterian
Church, the Past President of the Rotary Club of Seguin and a member of the
Board of Directors of that Club and its Associated Seguin Rotary Foundation, the Compliance Officer
for the Rotary District 5840 Youth Exchange Committee, a member of the Board of Directors
and President of the Seguin Outdoor Learning Center, a member of the Guadalupe County Bar Association,
a Director and Officer of the Treasure Island Homes Association, a Director of the Pecan Museum,
a past panelist at seminars on legal ethics, and a contributor to and volunteer for numerous civic and charitable
organizations. In his off time Stephen enjoys spending time with
his family, woodworking and all forms of outdoor activities.
Lynda Rabe was born in Gonzales, Texas and has lived in
Seguin and surrounding areas all of her life. A graduate of
Nixon High School, she began her legal career in 1972 as a legal
secretary and, like Stephen, developed an affinity for Real Estate
work during her many years of legal experience. Lynda became
associated with the Law Office of Stephen D. Finch in 1999 where she
has since continued to work closely with Clients, Realtors, Lenders
and Title Companies in the documentation and closing of real estate
transaction in addition to other legal matters. In her
spare time, Lynda enjoys her family and her three cats, reading and
day trips to "just get out and see the sights." |
